Social programme

A wide range of associated (social) events and activities have been foreseen to take place during LHCP 2023 in Belgrade. These include:

  • Welcome Reception on the evening of Monday May 22
  • Poster Session Cocktail on the afternoon of Tuesday May 23
  • Topical Excursions (half-day) on the Wednesday May 24, and 
  • Conference Banquet on the the Thursday May 25

In addition, there will also be a set of associated public outreach events taking place during the LHCP 2023 conference in Belgrade, including the public science expositions organised with help of the Center for the Promotion of Science in Serbia. 

Welcome Reception 

Welcome Reception will take place at the Serbian National Assembly from 19h to 21h.

Poster Session Cocktail 

Poster Session Cocktail will be served dueiring the poster session at the terrace of the Metropol Palace Hotel from 17h to 19h.

Topical Excursions 

In a separate registration form, participants can shoose one of the five offered excursions:

TOUR ONE : Belgrade walking tour with visit to the National Museum of Serbia

TOUR TWO: Belgrade walking tour with visit/s to the Nikola Tesla Museum /the Saint Sava Orthodox Cathedral

TOUR THREE: Belgrade bus + walking tour to the Kalemegdan Fortress

TOUR FOUR: Belgrade panoramic tour with cruising along the Belgrade Rivers

TOUR FIVE: Sremski Karlovci and wine tasting in authentic wine cellar

All offered tours include wine tasting from the local procuers with ligth apperitive.

Conference Banquet 

Conference banquet will take place in the Metropol Palace hotel. Prior to the gala dinner, rakia tasting will be offered.

Cultural programme during the banquet:

  1. Bora Dugić - Serbian flaute and Boban Prodanović - accordion;
  2. Danijela Veselinović - trumpet;
  3. Ethno singing and folklore, KUD "Sveti Djordje" - Luka Tešanović, Marina Krstić, Ana Mihajlović, Elena Despinić, Katarina Spasenović, Ana Nedović, Marija Gajić, Jovan Stikić, Aleksa Arsić, Stefan Šorgić, Lazar Drljan, Darko Pejčić, Ivan Radanović;
